Thank you for your comment!  I share your disappointment.  I was unable to locate any details about this case other than the murder victim was Calvin Gibson.  The Library does not have the court records for Perry&#039;s case or any Buchanan County newspapers from 1906.  I also conducted an unsuccessful search on &lt;a href=&quot;http://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;Chronicling America&lt;/a&gt; on the chance the case would have appeared in other Virginia newspapers.
