Abstract

Contains a petition of Enoch Robertson, Master of the Ship Mermaid of Liverpool to Lieutenant Governor Alexander Spotswood asking for permission to sail without convoy. According to Robertson, his ship is laden with tar & pitch and the bounty on these items will expire on September 29 by an act of Parliament.
