Abstract

Contains an extract of the proceedings of the Council of North Carolina in Edenton regarding a communication from the governor of Virginia informing them of the killing of Saponi Indians by Tuscarora Indians. According to the proccedings, Chief Blunt denies the charges against the Tuscarora Indians and alledges that is was done by the Northern Indians. The proceedings were transcribed by Robert Forster, Deputy Secretary.
