Abstract

Contains a petition of Francis Epes to [Lieutenant Governor William Gooch] asking for leave to take up five thousand acres of land joining the lands of William Harding, Samuel Good, Thomas Tanner, and his own line. Epes also asks for a patent for two thousand three hundred acres already patented on Skin Quarter Creek.
