Abstract

Contains a petition of Henry Willis to Lieutenant Governor William Gooch asking that no patent may issue on a survey for 300 acres (more or less) of land lying on the southside of the North River of the little fork of the Rappahannock River in Spotsylvania County. According to the petition, this land was lately surveyed for Charles Duit by George Horne.
