Abstract

Contains a deposition of Adam Terance before John Elder & Christopher Gist regarding an attack against them by the Delaware Indians at Makanai Creek. According to the deposition, Terance traveled with Thomas Forster, John Harris, Mr. McKee & forty men to Capt. McKee's at New Providence in order to bury the dead lately murdered on Makania Creek. Terance & his men were fired upon on their return at the mouth of Makanai Creek.
