Papers, 1859-1868, of George Kerr of the Ker Place in Onancock, Accomack County, Virginia. Included are receipts for home purchases; contracts and receipts for the work of African Americans Harriet Blue and Isaac Brown; and a letter to Mrs. George Kerr from her brother. George Kerr (1825-1892) of Onancock, Accomack County, Virginia, was the son of John Sheperd Ker (d. 1847), who built Ker Place (also known as Cessford Place) in 1799-1803.
