Abstract

Contains an order of the Court of Oyer & Terminer held for Brunswick County for the trial of Juday a slave belonging to Nathaniel Harrison, Esq., of Prince George County, on suspicion of feloniously administering poisonous medicines with intention to destroy the family of Lewis Scarbrough of Brunswick County. The court orders that Juday be hanged and that she be valued at fifty pounds. The order is signed by Francis Young.
