Abstract

Contains a report of the Committee of Public Claims regarding an allowance to George Archer & Francis Eppes, inspectors of tobacco at Bollings Point, for twenty pounds each. The report also includes an allowance to John Durrett for his slave Jacob who was imprisoned in the Spotsylvania jail.
