Abstract

Contains a letter from Thomas Read to Governor [John Murray] Earl of Dunmore regarding an amount of money furnished by George Walton for the support of ranging companies in the defense of the frontiers while Clement Read acted as agent of affairs in the Indian War on the frontiers of of Halifax, Bedford, & Augusta.
