Abstract

Contains a letter of Archibald Cary to Col. Patrick Henry regarding the committee to examine the case of several captured vessels taken at Hampton. Cary requests Henry to procure an order of the Convention to the commanding officer at Hampton to send the several commanders of the vessels taken, along with their papers, to Williamsburg. Cary states that they have the papers belonging to the Molly and do not need the papers belonging to Max Calvert or the Mayland vessel.
