Abstract

Frank White was born 22 September 1913 in Stafford County, Virginia. When World War II began, he enlisted in the United States Navy. After the war ended, he remained a member of the Naval Reserve. White was a charter of the White Oak Fire Department in Stafford County and served as president of the Stafford County branch of the NAACP. he and his wife Claudia White (1912-1994) had five children. White died 12 February 2004 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He was buried at Quantico National Cemetery.
