Abstract

Charles Alvah "Billy" Lee was born 21 July 1921 in King William County, Virginia. Lee joined the United States Army on 24 September 1942 and served as a sergeant in the 75th Joint Assault Signal Corps. Lee served in campaigns in the Pacific Theater, including the Philippines. After the war, Lee returned to King William County and worked as an electrician for Chesapeake Corporation. He and his wife Phyllis Hooper Lee had four children. Lee died 2 April 2010 in West Point, Virginia.
