Abstract

Otis Melvin Loker was born 10 July 1912 in Rockingham County Virginia. He enlisted in the Army 5 April 1944, serving stateside, then in the Philippines. Loker worked as a carpenter at R. S. Monger and Sons in Harrisonburg, Virginia, full and part-time until he was 90 years old. He and his wife Frances Virginia Loker (1912-1993) had two children. Loker died 20 December 2004 in Harrisonburg, and was buried in Elk Run Cemetery, Elkton, Rockingham County.
