Abstract

George Clayton Farris was born 22 June 1913 in Pulaski County, Virginia. He helped run the Farris family's successful dairy farm in Pulaski County. He and the family also operated their businesses in Montgomery County. He married Virginia Allison Dobyns (1913-1994) 16 October 1942, and they had four children. Farris was a prominent businessman in Pulaski County until his death 4 August 1977. He was buried in New Dublin Cemetery in Dublin, Pulaski County.
