Abstract

Floyd Junior Mabe was born 13 December 1925. He resided in Blacksburg, Montgomery County, Virginia, when World War II began. Mabe entered the United States Navy 11 December 1943. He was wounded in action off the coast of France 15 August 1945 and died of his wounds 19 August 1945. Mabe was buried in the Sicily_Rome American Cemetery and Memorial in Nettuno, Italy.
