Abstract

Albert Dabney Hoskins was born 29 June 1924 in Danville, Virginia. In April 1941, he went to work at Riverside Cotton Mill. Hoskins joined the United States Navy 30 May 1942 and served until honorably discharged 19 November 1945. He returned to Danville and worked at the Dan River Mills. Hoskins married Martha Nelsie Adams (1921-2003) 17 October 1944, and they had a daughter. Hoskins died 2 April 1984 in Danville, and is buried in Danville Memorial Gardens.
