Abstract

Garrett McDonald was born 20 March 1897 in Hampshire County, West Virginia. He enlisted in the United States Army 5 June 1918. After World War I ended, he settled in Keyser, Mineral County, West Virginia. McDonald and his wife Mary E. Newcomb McDonald (1898-1987) had five children. He died 4 January 1990 in Mineral County and was buried in Arnold Cemeter in Hampshire County.
