Abstract

Leonard Preston Reedy, Sr., was born 6 March 1897 in Shenandoah County, Virginia. He served in the Headquarters Company of the 163rd Regiment during World War I. After the war, Reedy worked as an electrician in Shenandoah and Fairfax Counties, and Arlington, Virginia. He and his wife Ruth Leona Reedy (1901-1960) had at least one child. Reedy died 3 January 1969 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
