Abstract

Leonard Preston Reedy, Jr. was born 8 February 1927 in Shenandoah County, Virginia, to Leonard P. Reed, Sr., and Ruth Leona Reedy. He moved with his family to Arlington, Virginia. Reedy enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1945 and served in the Burma-China-India Theater at the end of World War II. Reedy died 16 December 1988 in Fairfax County, Virginia, and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
