Abstract

Contains a letter from the Justices of the Peace for Stafford County to Governor Francis Nicholson regarding the ambassadors sent to the Piscataway Indians. According to the letter, Giles Vandicastille & Burr Harrison were sent by the justices to deliver the governor's commands to the Emperor of the Piscataway Indians. The letter also mentions that the pay of the rangers & officers are thirteen months in arrears. The letter is signed by G[eorge] Mason, M. Thompson, Richard Hastacker, Philip Buckner, William Williams, John Washington, & Robert Collson.
