Ironmonger) (A) CARRIE 5 BURCHER born December 7, 1881; died June 17, 1882 (B) MARY 5 DEDMAN BURCHER, born December 31, 1882, called "Mamie", married Frank G. Crandol. They lived on Big Bethel Road in Elizabeth City County, now Hampton. (She attended Farmville State Teachers' College and was one of my mother's teachers.) They had two children: a. Charles Tilford 6 Crandol, who married Louise Years. After her death, he married Lorraine Smith of Poquoson and they had two children: aa. Frank 7 Crandol bb. Mary 7 Crandol b. Eleanor 6 Crandol, who married Ronald Weade and they had two children: aa. Roanld [Ronald] 7 Weade Jr. bb. Betty 7 Wade Mary (Mamie) Burcher Crandol died in 1966 and her husband, Frank Crandol died December 8. 1942. = (C) LEVEN 5 COSBY BURCHER, oldest son of Charles 4 Lewis Burcher (Miles 3, Lewis 2, William) and his wife Sarah Ray Burcher was born February 11, 1885. He married Mary Custis Ironmonger, daughter of Lemuel and Susanna Ironmonger, January 2, 1911. Given are their children: a. Mildred 6 Burcher, born August 15, 1912. She married A Arthur Ribble in 1936 and they live in Norfolk. They have no issue.
