He married a cousin, Eliza 4 Burcher, another daughter of John Edward (Ned) Burcher and Mary Ironmonger Burcher, December 1, 1878. (York Marriage Register) They had two children whose descent has been traced elsewhere in this manuscript. (9) ELLEN 3 BURCHER, the youngest child of Lewis 2 Burcher (William 1) and his wife Mary Susan Burcher, was born 1870. Nothing more is known by this writer about her.
