SHELDON seems to be another name that has special meaning to this family: 1. In the York branch of Burcher there was an Edward Burcher named as guardian of Sheldon Russell's children, February 20, 1837. 2. Mack Sheldon Burcher born 1852, was a son of Lewis 2 Burcher of Warwick, but he later lived in York. 3. Garnet Sheldon Burcher born 1889, lived in Warwick.
