At a Court continued for Stafford County 9th May 1753.

Present } Mott Doniphan, John Peyton, Peter Daniel Henry Fitzhugh, Frances Thornton Wm. Fitzhugh { Gentlemen

Hannah a negro Girl belonging to John Alexander adjudged to be twelve Years old.

In the Suit on Petition between Thomas Washington Plt. & John James def't. Judgmt. is granted the Plt. for three Pounds ten Shillings & eleven pence farthing by Account with Costs.

In the Action of Trespass upon the Case between Patrick Bogle & Co. Plt's and John Kitchen deft. the deft. not appearing Judgment is granted the Plt. against him & William Swetman his Security for what of the Sum sued for in the Declaration shall appear to be justly due unless the deft. do appear at the next Court & answer the Plts. Action.

In the Action of Trespass upon the Case between Patrick Bogle & Co. Plts. & Benjamin McCullough deft. the deft. not appearing Judgment is granted the Plts. against him and Edward Waller his Security for what of the sum sued for in the declaration shall appear to be justly due unless the deft. do appear at the next Court & answer the Plts. Action

In the Action of debt between Nicholas Savin Plt. & Joseph Goss & John Thomas defts the defts. came into Court & confessed Judgment to the Plt. for fifteen Pounds seven Shillings & two pence, it's thereupon considered by the Court that the Plt. recover the Same of the defents. & his Costs by him in this behalf expended. But this Judgmt, is to be discharged (the Costs excepted) on payment of seven pounds thirteen Shillings & one penny with Interest thereon from the seventh day of December one thousand seven hundred and fifty one till the Same is paid. Two pounds five Shillings receiv'd the seventeenth day of December one thousand seven hundred & fifty one

In the Action of debt between William Rowley Plt. & John James deft. the deft. not appearing Judgment is granted the Plt. against him & Roger Hill & Mary Murry his Securities for what of the Sum sued for in the declaration shall appear to be justly due unless the defts. do appear at the next Court & answer the Plt's Action
