282 } June Court, 1754.

Simon Perry defts. the defts. confessed Judgment to the Plt. for ninety pounds, it's thereupon considered by the Court that the Plt. recover the same of the sd. defts & his Costs by him in this behalf expended.

In the Suit on Petition between Francis Broox Plt. & James M Daniel deft. Judgment is granted the Plt. for two pounds seventeen Shillings & seven pence half penny & Costs.

In the Action of debt between Mason Combs Plt. & Saml. Earle Adminr. of all & singular the Goods & Chattles of Hannah Baylis decd. deft. the Jury being Sworn by consent of the Parties Saml. Seldon Gent. one of the Jurors of the Jury is withdrawn & this Suit is continued till the next Court at the defts. costs & to be Tried the first day ~

The Action of Trespass upon the case between Robert & Edward Maxwells Plts. & Cuthbert Byram deft. is dismist the deft. paying costs.

In the Action of Trespass upon the Case between Abram Bredwell Plt. & Robert Ashby deft. a Jury to wit Andrew Edwards George Bell, Jacob Johnson William Pickett, William Northcut, John Gravel, Thomas Price, John Mauzy, Thomas Monroe, Saml. Seldon, William Horton & Samuel Earle were sworn to try the Issue joined who brought in their Verdict in these Words "We of the Jury find for the Plt. forty shillings sterling damage Saml. Seldon" which Verdict at the Plt's Motion is admitted to record, & it's considered by the Court that the Plt. recover of the sd. deft. the sd. forty Shillings sterg. damage by the Jurors aforsd. in their Verdict aforsd. assessed, & his Costs by him in this behalf expended. And the deft. filed Errors in arrest of Judgt. which are to be argued the next Court.

In the Suit on the Attachment obtained by Catharine Waters against the Estate of Philip Sulivan, the sd. Catharine produced & made Oath to an Acct. against the sd. Philip for two pounds six Shillings &. its thereupon considered by the Court that the sd. Catharine recover the same of the sd. Philip, & her costs by her in this behalf expended. And the Sheriff having returned the Attachment executed in the Hands of George Brent he not appearing, it's ordered that he be summoned to appear at the next Court to declare what of the Estate of the sd. Philips he hath in his Hands.
