{ 295 June Court, 1754,

with Interest thereon from the sixteenth day of July one thousand seven hundred & fifty two till the same is paid.

In the Action of debt between Jacob Williams Plt. & William Scaplehorn deft. the Issue in this suit to be tried by a Jury is waved & the deft. confessed Judgment to the Plt. for twenty eight pounds current Money, its thereupon considered by the Court that the Plt. recover the Same of the sd. deft. & John Oliver his Security & his Costs by him in this behalf expended. But this Judgment is to be discharged the Costs excepted on payment of fourteen pounds of like Money with interest thereon from the twentififth [twenty fifth] day of December one thousand seven hundred & fifty two till the same is paid

In the Action of debt between William Pattin Plt. & David Ashby Robert Ashby, Junr. & Thomas Ashby defts. A Jury to wit John Gravatt, William Horton, William Pickett, John Peyton, Humphry Pope, Joseph Carter William Potter, Francis Broox, Thomas Porter, Thomas Norman, Joseph Porter & John Honey were sworn to try the Issue joined who brought in their Verdict in these Words "We find for the Plt. two thousand one hundred pounds of Tobacco & Casks with Interest from the dates of the several Payments William Pickett foreman" which Verdict at the Plts Motion is admitted to record, & it's considered by the Court that the Plt. recover [from] the said Deft. the sd. two thousand one hundred pounds of Tobacco and Cask with Interest as aforsd. by the Jurors aforsd. in their Verdict aforsd. assessed & his Costs by him in this behalf expended. Memorandum, the Bond is dated the nineteenth of August one thousand seven hundred & fifty one the first payment was to be made in June one thousand seven hundred & fifty two the other in June one thousand seven hundred & fifty three to be paid at Acquia, or at the Falls of Rappahannock

In the Action of Trespass upon the Case between James Stuart & Mary his wife Plts. & William Ross Senr. deft. the deft. having pleaded not guilty the Plts. joined the Issue & the Tryal thereof is referred till the next Court.
