{ July Court, 1754.

William George, John Withers, William Kendall, William Dye, William Horton & Peter Murphy were sworn to try the Issue joined, who brought in their Verdict in these words "We of the Jury find for the Pltf. twelve pounds five shillings & four pence William Dye foreman" which Verdict at the Plt's Motion is admitted to record, & its considered by the Court that the Plt. recover of the said deft. the sd. twelve pounds five Shillings & four pence half penny by the Jurors aforsd. in their Verdict aforsd. assessed & his Costs by him in this behalf expended:

Ordered that Samuel Angell pay John Balandine six hundred & fifty pounds of Tobacco, for five days attendance as an Evidence for him at the Suit of McRae, & for coming & returning thirty five miles five Times NB. no more than one day to be allowed in the Bill of Costs.

Ordered that Charles Dick pay Daniel Fitzhugh forty six pounds of Tobacco & one Shilling for one days attendance as an Evidence for him against Lynn & for coming & returning seven miles once together with his Ferriages at Fredericksburgh coming & returning according to Law.

Ordered that William Lynn pay John Foreman forty six pounds of Tobacco & one Shilling for one days attendance as an Evidence for him at Suit of Dick, & for coming & returning seven Miles once, together with his Ferriages at Fredericksburgh coming & returning according to Law.

Administration on the Estate of John Hardie is granted Margaret Hardie she having entered into bond with Benjamin Massey & John Stone her Securities, Withers Conway, Baldwin Dade, Thomas Bunbury, & John Thomas Appraisers.

Then the Court adjourned till tomorrow morning 9, oClock J. Mercer

At a Court continued & held for Stafford County 10th July 1754 ~

In the Action of Trespass upon the Case between Thomas & Robert Dunlops Plts. & John Armstrong deft. a Jury to wit Samuel Earl, John Mauzy, John Leech, Seth Botts, Merrimond Tiller Benjn. Robinson, Richard Pilcher, William Rose, Saml. Bredwell, Robert Ashby junr. John Withers, & Thomas Crawford were sworn well & truly to enquire of damages who brought in their Verdict in these Words, "We of the Jury find for the Plt. twelve pounds five shillings & seven pence half penny current money Saml. Earle foreman" which Verdict at the Plt's motion is admitted to record, & its considered by the Court that the Plts. recover of the sd, defts. the sd. twelve pounds five Shillings & seven pence half penny currency by the Jurors aforsd. in their Verdict aforsd. assessed, & their Costs by them in this behalf expended,
