We had such a pleasant trip down. The train stopped 4 hrs in Louisville. One of Lilly's Scottville friends, who was in L- came with her hostess to take us back with them to tea - thinking the train would not leave, before 12 OC. Although there was company invited to tea, Miss Jennie stayed with us until we left at 8.OC. Will Hayne & his cousin Joe Gilkeson heard of our passing through and they too thought we would not leave until midnight I came prepared to take us out to the Exposition to see the "Last Days of Pompeii" in fire works that came off that evening - all three of them
