plenty to keep hands and brain both busy - We still have aunt Martha to cook for us and I hire the washing done by another woman - Aunt Martha isn't stout I attend to the milking myself with the help of a boy - I find housekeeping right perplexing and I don't feel that I am a very efficient house keeper Lucy is a much better manager than I am - She is quite fleshy and looks well - her youngest little boy is very handsome. [illegible] and family are living in Hillsboro. His health doesn't improve any and I very much fear that his lungs are very seriously involved. You spoke of your flowers in your letter to sister - I have an excellent pit - and find it a great deal easier to keep my flowers
