Loringston Virginia Decr 20th 1850

Dear Sir I have understood that you had administered on the Estate of William M Harnest Decd and of course, are the proper person to make aplication [application] to in Regard to debts Due by the Estate I have a claim against Wm M Harnest contracted before his death allso [sic] an account agains[t] his Estate for Coffin, Case & other Burial Expenses and I should take it as a favour if you would inform me when to present my claims for settlement allso please let me know whether it is nescsary [sic] to produce any evidence of the correctness of my accounts more than the usual form of Affadavit By droping [sic] me a line at your earliest convenience in Regard to the above you will confer a special favour on Yours &c James P Ireland
