Amt Brot Over 29.59 Amt bill at gays. going and coming 3.00 Making coffin of walnut lumber 15.00 [total] $47.59 Now the above accounts are correct as I have them Receipted which sho us that for traveling day & night to Augusta County I receive the sum of $2.41 cents Now these are bills which I can establish but I do not wish to subject the estate to cost by suit and as you are one of the prefered creditors of the Estate I think you had Best have the Matter closed as I can not wait any longer for My Money and if you will not do any thing towards it my only chance is to sell the account at auction in Staunton for what it will bring or bring suit against the Estate Either of these Courses are disagreeable to me but at the same time the will be nesesary please answer this immediately on its Receipt so that I may know what course to pursue Very Respectfully Yours Jas P Ireland to Mrs. Eliz.
