Interrogatories propounded to Mrs W Bailey 1 Interg Are you the same Mary W Bailey mentioned in the will of Jordon Anderson late of Chesterfield of date of the 27th of August 1848 as his daughter Ans I am. 2 Interg Are the plffs or any of them the negroes bequeathed to you by your said father in the 5 clause of his will aforesaid and if so which of them and are the other plffs aforesaid descendants of such as are bequeathed to you in the will aforesaid and from which and how are they descended? Answer. A part of the plffs were given to me by the will of father. My father gave me [Ann?] in 1828. Peggy about 1831. Tom Maria & Washington shortly after I received Milley & Raschal under his will I think in 1849 all the others are children born since they have been owned by me. Ben, Jas, Sydney, Julia & Debbrall are children of Peggy. Henry, Rose William & Harriet are children of [Ann?] Lee James & Winfree are children of Maria.
