Alice vs Peter Mortey & Saml Edelen } In Chy. In this case the former order of this court ordering an answer to be made on or before the first day of this term not having been complied with, & it being now admitted by defts counsel that no answer is to be filed, the Bill of the complainant is by order of this court taken for confessed; and the court do now upon considering said Bill and exhibits order and decree that the said Alice be emancipated & set free, and that the said Samuel Edelen do make execute & deliver to said Alice a proper & full deed of emancipation duly prepared for record. and that the said Peter Mortey be and is hereby perpetually enjoined from exercising or in any manner setting up any claim to the said negro Alice.
