The Commonwealth of Virginia to the Sergeant of the Corporation of Lynchburg Greeting we command you to summon John J. Cabell, Nathaniel J. Manson and Robert S. Coleman the Executors of Addison Davis deceased to appear before the Justices of our County Court of Bedford at the Courthouse thereof on the 4th Monday in Novmr. next to answer a Bill in Chancery exhibited against him by Martin, Matt, Stephen, Judy, Daniel, Ned and Ben (paupers & persons of colour) And this they shall in no wise omit under the penalty of £100 each and have then there this writ Witness James C.
