The Commonwealth of Virginia to the Sheriff of Nelson County Greeting You are hereby Commanded as often before you have been Command to Summon William Campbell, John Campbell, Jacob Puckett, and Betsey his wife John Campbell Junr. and Polly his wife William Campbell and Frances his wife Crawford Puckett & Clara his wife and Peggy Campbell (by John Campbell Jnr. (her Guardian), (which said William, John, Betsey, Polly, Frances, Clara, & Peggy are the Children and heirs of John Campbell decd.) and James Montgomery Administrator of the said John Campbell decd. to appear before the Justices of our County Court of Nelson at the Court house on the 4th Monday in June next to answer a certain Bill in Chancery exhibitted against them by Tobias (a free Negro) and they shall in no wise omit.
