THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA, TO THE SHERIFF OF Rockbridge COUNTY, GREETING: YOU are hereby commanded to summon Joseph Bell one of the Exors # of Susan Wayt Deceased to appear at the Clerk's Office of our Circuit Superior Court of Law and Chancery for Augusta County, at the Court-house, on the first Monday in April next, to answer a bill in Chancery, exhibited against him &c in the said Court, by John, Jeff, and Martha Ann, persons of colour manumitted by the last Will and Testament of Susan Wayt Decd. and unless he shall answer the said bill within two months thereafter, the Court will take the same for confessed, and decree accordingly; and this he shall in no wise omit under the penalty of £100 And have then there this writ.
