The Commonwealth of Virginia to the Sheriff of Scott county greeting. We command you as you have heretofore been commanded to summon John Osborn, William Osborn, James Osborn, Samuel Alley & Matty his wife, Jeremiah Hart & Sarah his wife, Easther Richmond, wife of Isaac Richmond, John Dollerhide, Jonathan Osborn son of James and Elizabeth his wife to appear before our Justices of our court of Scott county, at the Court-House, on the second Tuesday in June next to answer a bill in chancery exhibited against them by Barbary a woman of Colour and this they shall in no wise omit under the penalty of 333 dollars and thirty four cents.
