That your Petitioners being desirous of settling in the new country beyond the Allegany Mountains, lately ceded to His Majesty by the Indians. Humbly pray that they many have leave to take up &c Survey Twenty thousand acres of Land within that Terretory, to begin at the Mouth Cumberland River . . . so as to include that quantity in one or more Surveys, upon such Terms as to their Honble Board shall deem Equitable And they will pray &c Walker Taliaferro .
