offence to any and with happiness to himself. But your petitioner finds his hopes are disapointed by a resolution of the last Session of Assembly, directing the Executive power of the State, to order all passers in the situation he stands in to depart the same, by which resolution your petitioner is exiled from a country where the warmest affections of his heart are placed and compelled to wander thro the world without fortune and at a time of life too far advanced to attempt a future settlement with hopes of proffit or satisfaction. Conscious however that his [conduct?] in every state and under every [revuse?] opportune will bear the strictest scrutiny, he presumes to pray this honourable house will take his case into consideration and grant him said redress as to their wisdom shall seem meet. And your petitioner as on duty bound will ever pray etc
