To the Honourable the speaker and Gentlemen of the House of Delegates of Virginia The Memorial of Archibald McCall Sheweth, That your Memorialist, is a native of Great Britain; but one who has spent the best part of his life in Virginia. There he married the apparent Heiress of a Gentleman of considerable Fortune, Thither he brought the whole of his own Fortune, and in it he became the happy Parent of two daughters, the children of the Lady above mentioned.
