Bessau 38. Fr. Shell wound of rt arm lower 1/3. Compound fractured humerus. Occurred 7 mo. ago For 66 days wore a supporting splint. There has always been a discharge. 3 mo. in bed. There was a good deal of discharge at one time. Phys. Exam. Rt arm & hand very brown compared to left & not due to medicine.Hands same temperature & no sweating. Nails are rounded on the injured side. Atrophy of hand, arm & forearm on rt. side. Very little power in hand or arm. Range of motion at elbow and wrist & in fingers is extremely limited. Sensation to touch & pain over arm, forearm and hand normal.
