Purnell Business Manager] Have you seen Slim yet to tell him? Daddy & Mother got a cute letter from Mr. & Mrs. Warfel about the baby - Mother will save it for you to see - And be sure to save Charley Ryland's letter - I can't write this morning - I'm in a different position - But maybe you can read it - Addison put me back on those Hepicebrin pills - I don't have much appetite - very little capacity, for some reason - But I drink milk right on and K is getting plenty of good dindie now - I think I'm just beginning to relax from it all - have had lots of company, and have felt good enough to do it until yesterday - So I'm going to rest more - I think I'm already getting perpetually droopy-eyed from these night feedings! Finally a telegram from Lou yesterday - she has been roaming around & just got back, I guess - Do you realize K is a week old today? This time last week I had no idea what was about to happen! The week has gone by faster than I expected - I hope next one will, too, if you can come down for the week-end - Both of us wants to see you mighty bad again - We miss you so much - I was glad to get your Wed. letter late yesterday afternoon (rather, 7 p.m. I think) & know you passed Ped. alright - though I knew you would, anyway - Could tell you were mighty tired from your handwriting - And, incidentally, I'm afraid I'll have to jerk you up on your spelling before long! You know I love you more than anything in the world - I'm counting the days until you can come down again - I love you - Woman
