like his Daddy -- Don't mention this to Mike, but she spoke of him (Mike) as Michael -- It amuses me sometimes to find out what wives call their husbands -- of course, I'm no exception, for I guess the girls smile when I slip up and write about "Boozie" -- I'm beginning to think I won't get a check again this month -- they're usually here by the 3rd -- Did the other boys change their allotments just before leaving? I wonder if the girls have gotten their checks -- My bank account is perilously low -- May stop and write a note to Lady --Lissie says next week or next week-end is the time for her to come and see the roses. -- They're really opening right along now and are surely gorgeous -- Will write more tonite Could never tell you how much I love you!
