The Commonwealth of Virginia to the Sheriff of King William County Greeting: We command you to take Thomas Adams and Jack Adams if they be found in your bailiwick, and them safely keep so that you have their bodies before the Judge of our Superior Court of King William at the Clerks Office on the first day of July next to satisfy the Commonwealth the sum of One hundred dollars each, which we late in our said Superior Court of King William recovered against the said Adam's respectively upon a Scire facias for debt; Also eight dollars and forty five cents, which to us in the same Court were adjudged for our Costs by us in suing forth our said Scire facias in that behalf expended: Whereof the said Thomas Adams and Jack Adams are respectively convicted as appears to us of record: And have then there this Writ: Witness Robert Pollard Jr. Clerk of our said Court, at the Courthouse the 18th day of April 1815 in the 39th year of the Commonwealth.
