Lancaster County to Wit This 29th day of November 1821 James Ball of the County aforesaid personally appeared before me a Justice of the Peace for the said County and made Oath on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty God, that Anthony Morrison a Man of Colour of the said County who says he served on board of a public Vessel in the Revolutionary War, from my own knowledge and the best information that I can obtain is about Eighty years of age without any means of subsistance except by his own and Wifes Labour and therefore needs the assistance of his Country Jos.
