To the Honbl. [Honorable] the Legislature of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The petition of W. Bradley Tyler a resident of the County of Loudoun. Humbly sheweth, that your petitioner, is possessed of the following negroes, viz. Samuel, Edward & Nancy under a gift from his mother, with a [particular?] prohibition to sell or otherwise dispose of them, they being family negroes much attached to the person and interest of your petitioner. Your petitioner prays that a special act may pass the Legislature authorizing him to remove the said slaves from the State of Maryland to this Commonwealth.
