Mecklenburg County [illegible] We Francis Moody & Littleberry Carter being call'd on by Mr. Thos. Reekes to say what in our opinion was the value of negroe man named Frank who dy'de whilste in in the Custody of the Jailor of the said County, do on our Oaths declare that we well know said negroe frank and do say that we think he was worth the sum of one Hundred and thirty pounds, and we further state that he said negroe frank was a very healthy fellow given under Our hands this 24th Day of Novmr Anno Dom. 1802 Sworn to before me one of the Justices of the peace of the said County Reuben Vaughan
