Your petitioner, and so Situated that without Sacrafice [sacrifice] in my Land and property could not remove, and as I have established a Character here, that I wish to support and desire to remain in this State, I humbly hope your Honorable Body will take my Situation into consideration and grant the permission to remain in the State, and your petitioner as in Duty bound will ever pray[.] Jack Henderson November 13th 1829
