Know all men by these presents that I William D Claiborne of the County of King William for & in consideration of the sum of $200 to me in hand paid, the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain & sell unto Harry a free mulatto man, (commonly called Burches Harry) a negroe boy called Bond son of the said Harry and I do for myself my heirs execr. &c engage to warrant & defend the Title of the said Harry his heirs &c to the said Bond against myself & all persons claiming under me and all persons whatsoever for ever.
